DFW first to utilize new "mini" Safe Drain®

Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport recently had 40 custom Safe Drains installed in its baggage handling area. The forty small storm drains will now be able to contain any deicing fluid that might be tracked into that area by baggage handling vehicles and allows DFW to be compliant with EPA standards regarding the release of deicing fluid.

Safe Drain, Corp. developed a modified smaller version of its standard patented Safe Drain product that could be easily installed and operated in each of the relatively small storm drains at DFW. The installation was performed by Safe Drain field service personnel.

The Safe Drain® is a patented product (Patent Numbers: 5,383,745; 5,582,720; 5,728,294) and is protected by other patents and patents pending.
